Rice Kheer Recipe | பால் பாயசம் | Pal payasam Recipe

rice kheer/pal payasam INGREDIENTS: Raw Rice - 1/2 cup Full Cream Milk - 1 litre Water - 1 cup Sugar - 1 cup / as per taste Cardamom Powder - 1/2 tsp Chopped Coconut - 1/2 cup Cashew Nuts - 10 Raisins - 10 Ghee - 2 tbsp Pinch of Salt Saffron - per taste METHOD: 1.Clean the rice well and soak it for 20 minutes in clean water. 2.Boil one litre full cream milk in preassure cooker with cup of water. 3.Add soaked rice ,cardamom powder and mix well. 4.Close the cookers lid and allow to boil for 20 to 25 minutes on low flame. 5.After 25 minutes, turn off the stove and wait till steams comeout. 6.In a hot pan, pour ghee and roast cashew, chopped coconut and raisins. 7.Roast well till it became golden colour. 8.Turn off the stove and pour the roasted nuts over rice kheer.Mix well. 9.Garnish with some saffron. 10.Serve hot or chill.Enjoy!! Note: If you use ordinary packet milk , add 1/4 cup of condensed milk for creamy texture.

INGREDIENTS: *----Chenna ----------* Milk - 1 litre Vinegar - 1 tbsp Ice water / Ice cubes - 1/2 litre Maida - 1 tbsp( for dough) *------------Sugar Syrup:----------* Water - 3 cup Sugar - 1 cup Cardamom Powder - 1/4 tsp *-----------Rabri :----------* Full fat milk - 3/4 litre Sugar - 1/2 cup or as per taste Saffron - pinch Cardamom Powder - 1/4 tsp Grated Almonds and pista - 2 tbsp METHOD: 1.To make Chenna , Pour milk in a pan and Bring to a boil . 2.Add vinegar and stir well until it curdles. 3.Once it curdled completely, turn off the stove. 4.Pour some ice cubes or ice water to get a soft chenna. 5.Drain it up in a thin muslin cloth immediately. 6.Wrap it up in the cloth and put it in running water. 7.Squeeze the water to remove the smell of vinegar. 8.Hang up in any place for 45 min to 1 hour. 9.After one hour, takeout the chenna and add maida. 10.Knead until it became soft and non sticky dough. 11.MAke a small balls and flatten them gently for making rasmalai discs. 12.Keep i

chocolate mug cake INGREDIENTS: Maida /All Purpose Flour - 3 tbsp Powdered Sugar - 2 tbsp Cocoa Powder - 2 tbsp Baking Powder - 1/4 tsp Milk- 3 tbsp Cooking Oil - 1 & 1/2 tbsp to 2 tbsp Salt - pinch Vanilla Essence - 1/2 tsp Choco Chips (optional) - as per taste METHOD: 1.Put all the above ingredients in any microwave safe mug. 2.Mix well without any lumps. 3.Microwave for one minute. 4.Garnish with powdered sugar and choco chips. 5.Serve and Enjoy. Note: If you have below 800W microwave oven, it will take 2 to 3 minutes to bake.

Fruit Jelly Cake INGREDIENTS: china grass strips - 20 gram water - 3 & 1/2 cup to 4 cup Sugar - 3 tbsp or as per taste Food colour Fruits -1/2 cup each METHOD: 1. Heat water with china grass until dissolves. 2.Add sugar and mix well. 3.Once it became jelly like consistency, turn off the stove. 4.Pour one or 2 spoon of warm jelly mix in any bowl or cake mould. 5.Put chopped fruits . 6.Keep approximately one cup of jellymix aside . 7.Pour the remaining mix on top the fruits. 8.Let set aside and make the jelly mix for another layer. 9.Add one or two drops of food colour(strawberry) in one cup of china grass mix. 10.Mix well and reheat the mixture for 2 to 3 minutes. 11.Pour the warm strawberry jelly mix . 12.Refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours or until set. 13.Once it is set, flip and remove from mould. 14.Cut into pieces and serve.

                                                                        squid masala INGREDIENTS: Squid / Kanava - 1/2 kg Chopped Onion - 1 Chopped Tomato - 1 Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp Green Chilli - 1 Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp Curry Leaves Pepper Powder - 3/4 tsp Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp Kashmiri Chilli Powder - 1 tsp Cumin Powder - 3/4 tsp Garam Masala Powder - 1 tsp Salt Per taste Coriander Leaves Oil - 3 tbsp METHOD: 1. Cut and clean the squid . 2.Add turmeric powder, pepper powder, ginger garlic paste and salt per taste. 3.Mix well. 4.Pour oil in pan and Fry the squid pieces on medium low flame for 8 to 10 minutes. 5.Drain the oil and transfer to any plate.Keep aside. 6.In the same oil, add mustard seeds. 7.Add chopped onion, tomato, green chilli and other spices. 8.Saute well for few minutes. 9.Add fried squid pieces and stir well.Add salt per taste. 10.Cook well on medium low flame for 2 to 3 minutes. 11.Garnish with some coriander leaves. 12.Serve hot a

pineapple kesari INGREDIENTS: Chopped Pineapple - 1 small size Rava / Semolina - 1 & 1/2 cup Sugar - 2 cup Yellow kesari powder - 1/4 tsp Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp Saffron as per taste Ghee as per taste Coconut Oil - 2 tbsp Raisins & Cashew nuts - as per taste Water METHOD: 1.Put chopped pineapple in mixie jar. 2.Blend and make a smooth paste. 3.In a hot pan, pour ghee and add rava . 4.Roast for 5 minutes until nice aroma cameout. 5.Transfer the roasted rava to any plate. 6.Pour ghee and coconut oil. 7.Add Raisins and cashew nuts as per taste. 8.Roast them for a minute. 9.Add blended pineapple paste.Stir well. 10.Pour two cup of water and yellow kesari powder.Mix well. 11.Cook for 5 minutes. 12.Add roasted rava and stir well .Let it cook for five more minutes. 13.Add pinch of saffron and cardamom powder.stir well. 14.Once ghee started to release from kesari, turn off the stove. 15.Serve hot and enjoy.
