How to make homemade mini unniyappam


Unniyappam


INGREDIENTS:

  • Wheat flour- 2 cup
  • Brown sugar- 1 1/2 cup
  • Ghee- 2 tsp
  • Cardamom powder- 1 tsp, Salt per taste
  • Required oil for frying

NOTE: If you don't have brown sugar, you should use the ordinary sugar

METHOD:

  1. Put the wheat flour in the bowl
  2. Then add brown sugar,cardamom powder and salt
  3. Add enough water to make a unniyappam batter and Stir well
  4. Mix well without any lumps
  5. Turn on the stove and put the frying pan on it
  6. Pour some coconut oil for frying
  7. Add 2 tsp of ghee for great aroma
  8. Add 1 tsp of baking soda and mix well
  9. Once the oil is heat, put the unniyappam batter in the oil one by one.
  10. Keep the stove on low flame
  11. Use the small spoons for making mini unniyappam
  12. Once the unniyappam is getting light brown colour, let's turn it on the other side and let it fry
  13. Once the both sides are cooked so well, let's take out and transfer it on serving plates
  14. Delicious homemade unniyappam is ready
