Maggie Manchurian Recipe | How to make maggie manchurian


MAGGIE MANCHURIAN 



INGREDIENTS:

NOODLE BALLS:


Maggies Noodles - 2 pack
Butter -1 tsp(optional)
Finely Chopped Onion - 2 tbsp
Grated / chopped carrot - 2 tbsp
Chopped capsicum - 2 tbsp
Corn flour / maida - 1/2 cup
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
Salt to taste

MANCHURIAN GRAVY:

Chopped Garlic Cloves -2 
Onion - 1/2 
Capsicum - 1/2
Spring onion - 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
Soya sauce - 1 tsp
Tomato Sauce - 2 tbsp
Red chilli sauce - 1 tsp
Water

CORN FLOUR SLURRY:

Corn flour - 2 tsp
water - 1/2 cup

METHOD

Take one big pack or 2 small pack of maggie noodles.


Crush the noodles into small pieces.


Boil one and half cup of water in pan and add crushed noodles.



Allow to cook for 1 tsp of butter and 2 pack of maggie tastemaker pack for two minutes.



Do not over cook the noodles.


Maggie noodles are ready .Let it cool completely.


For extra crisp, crush one pack of maggie noodles and keep aside.


Transfer the cooked noodles in large bowl.


Add 2 tbsp chopped onion, carrot and capsicum.Veggies can be your choice.




Add half cup of maida or corn flour.


Add salt to taste and ginger garlic paste . Mix well.



Make sure not to mash the noodles.


Soft noodles dough is ready.


To make noodle balls, apply some oil in palm and make small lemon size balls.



Coat the noodle balls with crushed maggie for extra crisp.



Noodle balls are ready.Let's deep fry them.


Pour enough oil for frying in pan and let it heat.


Once the oil is medium hot enough, drop the noodle balls and deep fry them until crispy golden colour.


Once it became crispy golden colour, drain the oil and keep aside.



Let's check the fried noodle ball .It cooked so well.
Fry all the remaing balls like this.


Crispy noodle balls are ready.Let's make manchurian sauce now.


Add 2 tbsp of oil in pan and let it heat.


Once oil is hot, add chopped 2 garlic cloves .


Then add 1/2 onion, 1/2 capsicum and 2 tbsp of spring onion leaves.




Stir fry them for 2 minutes on high flame.


Add 2 tbsp tomato sauce, 1 tsp red chilli sauce, 1 tsp soya sauce .Mix well.




Add salt to taste . 1/2 tsp pepper powder and pour 1/4th cup of water .Mix well for a minute.




To make corn flour slurry, mix 2 tsp corn flour with 1/2 cup water .


Pour prepared corn flour slurry in manchurian sauce.Mix until sauce turns into glossy.



Add fried noodle balls in manchurian sauce and mix well.


Boil for 2 minutes until flavour is well absorbed.


Maggie manchurian is ready. Garnish with chopped spring onion leaves.


Enjoy and serve as a evening snack or with fried rice.
