INGREDIENTS: BANANA/PLANTAIN (MEDIUM RIPE) - 2 GRATED COCONUT - 1/4 CUP CASHEW NUTS - 5 TO 6 RAISINS - 5 TO 6 CARDAMOM POWDER - 1/4 TSP SUGAR - 3 TBSP GHEE - 1 TBSP OIL FOR FRYING METHOD:
1.Take 2 medium ripe banana and peel off the skin. 2. Cut into halves and discard inner black seeds. 3. Steam cook for 5 to 10 min until it soft. 4. Mash well with wooden spoon,masher or stone pestle. 5. To make coconut filling, add 1 tbsp ghee in a hot pan. 6. Roast 5 to 6 cashew nuts and raisins. 7. Add 1/4 cup grated coconut along with 1/2 tsp cardamom powder. 8. Add 3 tbsp of sugar.Stir well. 6. Once sugar is melted, stir well for 5 min and turn off the stove. 7. Take lemon size banana dough on palm.(Apply oil on palm before started) 8. Flatten the dough by using other hand . 9. Put 1 tsp of coconut filling and sealed it. 10. Make a small cylinder shape . 11. Once the stuffing is done, deep fry them all on medium flame in hot oil. 12. Once it became golden colour,filter the oil and transfer to serving plate. 13.Serve hot and enjoy..
